SKU: JL.JLP-8338
By Benny Goodman. Edited by Rob Duboff and Jeffrey Sultanof. Arranged by Fletcher Henderson. Recorded by Benny Goodman. Swing. Score and parts. Published by Jazz Lines Publications (JL.JLP-8338).This Fletcher Henderson arrangement of the Fred Fisher standard Chicago, was performed live by Benny Goodman in 1935. This is a great arrangement by Henderson that features clarinet, as well as solo spots for tenor saxophone and trumpet. Since there was no baritone saxophone part for this arrangement we have decided to put the solo clarinet part on reed 5. All reeds double on clarinet during a 'choir' soli section. Ranges: Trumpet 1: to D6 Trombone 1: Bb4.
