Playing this Hanon, is fun! Kids loose the fear of rhythmic reading and develop steady pulse sense.

These boogie woogie riffs don't sound like boogie woogie at all ! I finally thought i've got to be playing it wrong. So, i took it to my piano teacher - she played it and she turned to me and said 'Thats cr*p Jason, where did you get this...

not as good as his others and i thought i would get really good riffs from this but i've only got one from it. I advise you not to buy it as it doesn't live up to the JAZZ/BLUES Hanons.

  • 2007-06-01 00:00:00.0 Disappointing not as good as Jazz Hanon

I bought this book because i wanted to learn Boogie-woogie and i though that Leo Alfassy's JAZZ HANON was really good. This book sucks! The first exercises were ok but then later on the exercises began to sound nothing like Boogie-woogie anymore. It aint a good book...

but his other one is, i like that one better (Jazz Hanon). Not worth the money this one.
