Composed for a school cello ensemble to cater for all abilities, this piece suitable for cello workshops, courses and or a concert finale for cello teachers who would like all their pupils, from the youngest to the oldest, to play together whilst being challenged and engaged. Part 1 - open strings only, suitable for absolute beginnersPart 2 - fairly simple ostinato and melody, suitable for those who have played for about two yearsPart 3 - a little more challenging with more melodic work, good for intermediate playersPart 4 - more challenging again with some chromatic notes and blue notes, suitable for young playersPart 5 - a challenge for the most experienced players with lots of treble clef and glissandi.
