This piece is written for wind band and pipe organ with all stops pulled. On May 20, 2012, the McKinney Community Band premiered Benedictio Nocturnum at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church in Allen, Texas. Jordan Smith played the Schudi Opus 39 pipe organ for the premier.
