The piece uses thematic transformation and metrical modulation to create a luminous and exciting quintet suitable for anytime, but especially at Halloween: think of thematic transformation as "shape-shifting." Banshee needs advanced musicians for a fairly difficult, but rousing piece of music to put on your program.
