From the Six Solo Cello Suites.Transcribed in Johann Sebastian Bach's original key with absolute adherence to the melodies, harmonies and rhythms notated in the cello scores by Friedrich Grutzmacher, Johan Dotzauer, Joseph Malkin and Hugo Becker.Transcribed with no added notes. Arranged for guitar using traditional notation, tablature with suggested fingerings.This Allemande features wide intervallic leaps, semiquaver passages and chordal punctuations, using the fretboard from 1st to 9th positions. It is the longest of the movements of any of the suites. This was originally written as an Adagio where a quaver=54 and using 64th notes. To facilitate easier reading,this arrangement has a crotchet=54, with the shortest rhythmic unit being a 32nd note.
