Composed by Edward Perronet/Oliver Holden/James Ellor. Arranged by James P. Colman. Christian,Sacred. 8 pages. KeySynth Studios #14611. Published by KeySynth Studios (A0.857864).

This sparkling low voice arrangement brings together the two best-known versions of this powerful hymn. The opening verse allows the vocalist to soar above the driving scales of the accompaniment. The second verse intertwines the vocal part and the accompaniment to form an interesting Baroque-style counterpoint. The vocal part is straightforward while the piano accompaniment drives the arrangement to a powerful ending. The piano accompaniment for this arrangement is very challenging. This arrangement is also available for high voice (S0.24860) and medium voice (S0.26520). The attached demo is the medium voice version. Range: G3-B4.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
