Cy Coleman was a legendary composer of pop standards and Broadway show tunes. Raised in The Bronx, he was a child prodigy who at the age of six was already giving piano recitals at Carnegie Hall. His first foray into Broadway came in 1960 when he wrote the music for Lucille Ball's Wildcat. He later composed songs for such musicals as Little Me, Sweet Charity, I Love My Wife, and, perhaps his greatest success, The Will Rogers Follies. He won and was nominated for several Tony Awards throughout his career and also won three Emmy's and two Grammy's. Many of Coleman's numbers have become pop standards, including all ten of the timeless songs presented here. Each is presented with lush, note-perfect backing tracks and removable guide vocals so your voice can shine through.
