In the Summer of 2011, Ms Mirja Leihenseder paid me a visit to persuade me to compose an album of easy sight-reading pieces for piano four-hands. Her requirements for the level of difficulty of the primo part were the following: 1. Melody in the right hand only; 2. Quarter-note as shortest note value; 3. No rest marks; 4. No change in chord positions; 5. No black keys for the thumb and fifth finger (who will find the only exception?)

I was allowed to use ties and did so frequently. The beginner thus learns all the major and minor keys in a very easy manner. That is something, isn't it?
