Composed by Robert Newth. Celtic,Folk,World. Score and parts. 15 pages. Robert Newth #3219241. Published by Robert Newth (A0.845568).

Wild Loch Mountain Lomond Thyme, originally written as a ten-piece for Castle Brass, is the result of a discovery that two traditional Scottish folk tunes fit pretty well over the top of each other. Both Loch Lomond and Wild Mountain Thyme are beautiful tunes in their own right, and I've tried to preserve that while bringing something new to the table. This piece would be an excellent addition to any quintet's concert programme.

The first trumpet part of this version of the piece has an option to play the opening and closing passages on a flugelhorn for a more mellow colour, although this is optional.

The PDF includes a full score and all five parts: Trumpet 1 and 2 in Bb, Horn in F, Trombone and Tuba.
