Composed by Joseph Eastburn Winner. Arranged by Joseph Hasper. Folk,Jazz,Traditional. Score and parts. 12 pages. Joseph Hasper #3213081. Published by Joseph Hasper (A0.734795).

Traditional American song arranged for German Band with two clarinets, trumpet, trombone, tuba, and optional drums. Includes a full score and all parts. Includes optional lyrics that let you sing a verse!

Key of Bb. 62 measures, 11 pages.

It was originally a drinking song and remained well known as a folk song into the early 20th century. Like many songs which make reference to alcohol, it enjoyed new popularity during the Prohibition era. In 1939, bandleader Glenn Miller recorded and broadcast his swing instrumental arrangement of the tune with great success, and the number became one of the best known orchestrations of the American Big Band era.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
