Published by Evelyn R Larter (A0.749783).This is a setting of verses from Psalm 103 to a section of J. S. Bach's famous Chaconne in D minor for solo violin, as arranged by F. Busoni for piano solo. After much dramatic minor music, the piece arrives at a tranquil section in D major which I adapted to create this arrangement for SATB and organ. It is of moderate difficulty for the choir, with the accompaniment somewhat more demanding. It is suitable for general worship services, and especially, given the text, at Thanksgiving.
