New England March (Opus 6) For concert band (New England Region, Northern Tablelands New South Wales, Australia.) Treat your band to a fresh sounding original march that will get them moving at their concert. The first theme has a snappy swing rhythm in the upper woodwinds held in place by tight chords on beats 1 and 4 in the lower brass and percussion. The second theme introduced in bar 22 contrasts dramatically with a switch to a straight Eighth-beat rhythmic style. (1:46) Instrumentation: Flute 1, 2 Oboe Bassoon Clarinet in B-flat 1, 2 Bass Clarinet in B-flat Alto Saxophone 1, 2 Tenor Saxophone Baritone Saxophone Trumpet in B-flat 1, 2, 3 Horns in F Trombone Tuba Timpani Percussion (Drum Set).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
