Composed by Anton Bruckner. Arranged by Ralph Sauer. Austrian Romantic. Coil bound score and parts. Published by Cherry Classics (CY.CC2795).

Um Mitternacht (At Midnight) is one of Bruckner's 30 secular choral works. They were written for Liedertafel or men's choral societies. This work WAB 90, a second setting, was composed and first performed in Vienna in 1886 for humming men's choir and tenor soloist.

It is hauntingly beautiful and has been expertly arranged for 5 Trombones by Ralph Sauer.

The excellent performance of this arrangement is by the Freshmen of the Eastman Trombone Choir, directed by Larry Zalkind in 2014.
