Choral Choir (SAB) - Digital Download

SKU: A0.851284

Composed by Tim Attride. Christian,Sacred. Octavo. 11 pages. Tim Attride #15469. Published by Tim Attride (A0.851284).

The "Dream of the Rood" by the poet Caedmon is one of the earliest English-language Christian poems. This work sets to music stanzas from the poem selected & translated by (and used with the permission of) Fr. Charles Boyd. Effectively a short "Mystery Play", it is a dialogue between a chorus and the Rood, voicing its feelings at bearing Christ and being a necessary part of the salvation of the world. With a light organ accompaniment, optional hand-bell / tubular bell, SSA, SAB splits and a Bass solo, this 8-minute work would be ideal for Good Friday or general Passiontide use. Now fully updated and re-set in Musescore.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
