By S. Coleridge-Taylor

Detailed Description

Gypsy Song and Dance for Euphonium and Piano composed by S. Coleridge-Taylor. Arranged by Ralph Sauer. For euphonium & piano. British 19th century. Advanced. Solo part and piano accompaniment. Published by Cherry Classics (CY.CC2573).

Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Gypsy Song and Dance, arranged beautifully by Mr. Sauer for Euphonium and Piano is taken from his four-movement "Gypsy Suite" Opus 20, originally published in 1898 for Violin and Piano, a very prolific year for the composer. Eventually this work and others were orchestrated by a colleague.

The two movements of nine minutes in length are suitable for advanced performers.
