A very accessible, yet hip arrangement for your jazz combo (trumpet, tenor sax, trombone, piano, bass, drums). This arrangement of Jerome Kern's well-known melody begins with a syncopated hook figure, leading way to a beautiful statement of the melody as played by your trumpeter or flugelhornist. A dramatic, harmonically captivating conclusion wraps things up. Top trumpet note is a very modest A above the staff. Chord changes are provided in all parts for soloing. Rhythm section reads slash and rhythmic notation from a single, consolidated part with chord symbols. While the score is in landscape layout, the parts are in portrait layout.
Top brass notes are A5 trumpet and A4 trombone.
