Who Want to Live Forever is a rather grim title given Freddie Mercury’s untimely death, but his songs, and especially his recordings with Queen will live on forever. The title refers to the immortal Connor MacLeod from the movie Highlander, and reached number 24 on the British charts. Now Thijs Oud’s arrangement lets this song live on forever as part of your band’s repertoire.

Début 1986, le groupe Queen enregistre l’album A Kind of Magic, contenant plusieurs titres destinés la bande originale du film fantastique Highlander sorti la même année. L’album est un grand succès, ainsi que la déclinaison des singles A Kind of Magic, Friends Will Be Friends, Princes of the Universe et enfin Who Wants to Live Forever, une chanson écrite par Brian May, le guitariste du groupe.
