Every band from Tommy Dorsey to the Tonight Show Band to Ted Heath seemed to have a version of this great Sy Oliver tune. Bob Curnow compiled some of those versions into one great, new arrangement. It features, of course, the trumpet section (Bob wrote it for an optional 5-player section) and two improvised trumpet solos. The "swing band" feel is very much a part of this chart which culminates in an ending that will knock your socks off. Your audiences will LOVE this one. 5-5-4-4.
