This easy organ arrangement of the old folk/spiritual draws its power and effectiveness from its pared down simplicity. It is a great introduction to organ Chorale playing. Everything stays right in the center in front of you. All movement is easily aligned in homophonic manner. Chord changes occur after long notes so you have time to 'look'. Many pedal notes are repeated without moving. LH is always just one note. RH is just 2 note chords. But it is rich with a new harmonization of the old tune. Registration can be altered to make it majestic or meditative, depending on your mood and service needs. Simple, beautiful, and flexible; just what every organist needs in their repertoire.
