By Australia unofficial national anthem. By Anonymous. Arranged by André Alberto Santos. 20th Century,Folk,Multicultural,Wedding,World. 9 pages. Soul - Musical Creations #6891475. Published by Soul - Musical Creations (A0.949056).

"Waltzing Matilda" is a song developed in the Australian style of poetry and folk music called a bush ballad. It has been described as the country's "unofficial national anthem". The title was Australian slang for travelling on foot (waltzing) with one's belongings in a "matilda" (swag) slung over one's back. In this arrangement for traditional string quartet (2 violins, viola and cello) I paid special attention to this beautiful melody with a voice division that highlights the harmony well. Full videos of Violão Vadio's arrangements are available on YouTube so you know exactly what you're getting. Click "Watch" next to the item details at the top of the page to view the full "Waltzing Matilda" video. Good concert!
