Composed by Anthea John-Phillip. Contemporary. Score and parts. 32 pages. Anthea John-Phillip #2010795. Published by Anthea John-Phillip (A0.937896).

This beginner piece is an excellent choice for a final concert for your first year band. Each section has a soli and will give the listener the opportunity to hear each part of the band play individually. The march-like tempo and style incorporates the first 6 notes of the Bb major scale while keeping simple rhythmic patterns of quarter notes, half notes and whole notes for the wind instruments. The snare drum has sixteenth notes in combination with eighth notes while the bass drum and tambourine have mostly quarter notes and half notes. Two and four bar phrases are used to create a leisurely stroll while "Walking to the Park".

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
