Composed by Howard Blake. Arranged by Dana Thynes and Elizabeth Shier. 20th Century,Film/TV. Score. 3 pages. Dana Thynes #4883437. Published by Dana Thynes (A0.880708).

One of the most beautiful, soaring melodies your piano students will ever thrill to. With natural rises and falls in the elegant broken chords, this song will sweep performers and listeners along with it.  You can hear this arrangement  performed at https://www.music-for-music-teachers.com/the-snowman-theme-walking-in-the-air.html
Satisfyingly long with its repeats, the melody changes flavor when it moves up an octave. A new left hand broken chord pattern for many intermediate students, much of the piece makes use of 10ths, which are accessible by way of a "hinge" at the 5th of the chord.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
