SKU: A0.882757

Composed by Georg Christoph Wagenseil. Arranged by Manontroppo Music - Charles Small. Baroque,Classical. Score and parts. 32 pages. Manontroppo Music - Charles Small #6019895. Published by Manontroppo Music - Charles Small (A0.882757).

Quartet #3 (of 6) for two violas, cello and bass. Inexplicably, these fine pieces, written about 250 years ago, have remained unpublished until now, although the alternate version for three celli and bass was published by Doblinger (Vienna) in 1978/81. The musical language is late-Baroque/early-Classical, and the low sonority is irresistibly delicious. My edition is clear, meticulous, and user friendly: every page-turn occurs at the end of a movement. Ready-to-print two-sided, or print one-sided and assemble the pages.
