Two Dalecarlian hymns without words: Bereden vag for Herran and Himmelriket liknas vid tio jungfrur.
"One of my ensembles requested a new adaptation of the traditional regional Dalecarlian version of "Bereden vag for Herran" ("Prepare the Way"). Since I personally find the arrangement by Anders Bond very beautiful indeed, it seemed pointless. But my resistance was worn down in time and I composed this arrangement without lyrics and inserted the more traditional Bond variant. It is possible of course to replace this with a unison presentation of the chorale or to have the audience/congregation join in. If you prefer to sing the arrangement as it is, you should go directly from bar 25 to bar 31.
