Published by Stephen Keeling (A0.1108059).The first movement of my Trombone Sonata was composed in 1985 when I was a music student and is written in a modern, somewhat atonal style. I never got round back then to writing a second and third movement as I intended to. I recently came across the score of the first movement and decided to compose a tonal, lyrical slow movement followed by a highly rhythmic finale (with nods to the first movement) to finally complete the sonata. The mp3 plays back the whole sonata.
