Composed by Paul Taylor. Contemporary. Score. 3 pages. Paul Taylor #5375113. Published by Paul Taylor (A0.803325).

In the tradition of  music box, "clock" and "cuckoo" pieces that appear throughout the piano literature from  Couperin and Daquin to Cold Play, Fleetwood Mac and  Luigi Nono, this piece piece is a miniature for the early intermediate pianist. It appears in the key of C and in B-flat. The composer, who also teaches piano, is a proponent of teaching complete musical  comprehension as well, and believes that  transposition is an important ingredient for achieving  this goal. The student might want to learn the piece in either of the two keys and then experiment with the second version in order to gain insight into the transformative power of transposition. .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
