Composed by Traditional Folk Tune. Arranged by Janna Willard. Children,Folk,Traditional. 17 pages. Janna Hoskin #6441653. Published by Janna Hoskin (A0.926697).

Three Little Mice is a short performance piece written for three sisters who were taking piano lessons from my mother. There are no dynamics written in this piece so that the performers have the opportunity to explore the possibilities and decide what suits the piece and their performance best.

In terms of structure, the full tune of Three Blind Mice is run through in full, in canon, once, then it begins again, only this time each motif is inverted. Finally, it runs through the main theme again.

In the piece you will also hear “squeaks” throughout (a grace note to the tonic, quite high on the keyboard).

Please let me know if you perform this piece, and don’t forget to review it on SMP!
