This edition includes three pieces to accompany congregational singing: “The Church’s One Foundation” (aurelia), “Be Thou My Vision” (slane), and “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling” (hyfrydol). It includes parts for Trumpet I, Trumpet II, Horn in F, Trombone, and Tuba. Each piece includes an introduction, multiple settings of the tune, and both aurelia and hyfrydol include a soprano descant for the final stanza. The setting of slane is designed to be adaptable to both commonly used meters of this tune. The vocal descants parts are optional. Horn in F can be substituted for Trombone I.
