By George Benson. By Leon Russell. Arranged by Dave Gingras, John E. Dosher. Contemporary. Score. 4 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #6616461. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.794137).

This song, written by American singer and musician Leon Russell. It was originally recorded in 1972 by Russell for his album Carney. It was also recorded by American vocal duo, The Carpenters, for their 1973 album Now & Then. "This Masquerade" was also recorded by American singer and guitarist George Benson - it became the first big hit of his career. This contemporary version features a root-based chord-blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added a few left and right-hand fills for some extra spice - we hope you like what we've done with the song!

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
