In order to play this piece, you must be able to quickly switch hand positions, understand syncopated rhythms, and play two different articulations in your right hand.
In the first three lines of the piece, you can see that the right hand has two different sets of notes differentiated by the direction of the stem. The lower set of notes is played staccato, whereas the top set should be held for the entire notated duration. Also notice that the first note of the slurred figures in the left hand are not staccato. This is intentional: they should be connected with the following note.
In measures 13-16 and 47-50, you will likely need to take time to count and figure out where each chord falls within the measure. Keep in mind that the time signature is 12/8, which indicates four beats of three eighth notes. Thus, when counting, you will want to break each measure into "1- 2-3 2-2-3 3-2-3 4-2-3". Watch out for clef changes!
The piano section in measures 27-44 has no notated tempo change, but it is okay to slow down here. Just make sure that right at measure 45 you return to the opening tempo.
