The Handmaid's Tale is a TV drama series based on a novel by Margaret Atwood. The soundtrack was written by Adam Taylor, an American composer, who is fairly new as a filmography composer.

Their First Time is quite a short piece that is included in Season 1 of the series. In this arrangement, the entire piece as it is on the soundtrack ends before Rehearsal Mark C. I added 2 more verses because I wanted to add a counter melody to it. The addition doesn't interfere with the original piece, so if you would like to perform this only as written by the composer, then it ends at the double bar just before C. Also, the original tempo marking of this piece is set at about 120, which is a bit faster than this arrangement.

For reference, this piece is included in the 5th episode, during a flashback of June and Luke confessing their love for each other.

Scored for Eb, 3 Bb, alto, bass, and contrabass clarinets.
