The Wexford Carol is a traditional Irish Christmas carol. The lyrics (not included here) begin "Good people all this Christmas time."  This carol has been gaining in popularity. It has been recently recorded by Yo Yo Ma and Alison Krauss (2008), English boy choir Libera (2013) and The Mormon Tabernacle Choir (2016). Its refreshing, lyrical melody brings a new, yet ancient, sound to current Christmas music.
This arrangement is for a string trio (two violins and a cello) in the keys of F, G and A major. The second violin part may be played by a viola. Appropriate for Advent and Christmas programs, it is particularly recommended for evening candlelight and Christmas Eve services. A solo sheet is provided for each instrument.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
