Threshold of Dream, the chamber cantata for alto, soprano and a arrator, makes free us of the fifth mode, and is conceived by interweaving the three songs and one prose fragment from surrealistic poetry by Marco Ristic (,, ... Landscape of waiting that doesn't last/time of lasting that doesn't wait ...) The symbolic quality of these verses leads toward an eternal feeling of transience, raising the question of the meaning and dissolution of life and its ultimate sense. The weight and, at the same time, the beauty of these feelings epitomizes the entire human creativity, which brings to the memory the lines by Laza Kostic about the insurmountable boundary which ,,splits the Universe in two.
