By Queen. By Brian May, Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, and Roger Taylor. Arranged by Kathleen McGuire. Rock. Octavo. 6 pages. Kathleen McGuire #6339347. Published by Kathleen McGuire (A0.890467).

Written mostly by Brian May, this 1991 song from Queen’s INNUENDO album chronicles Freddie Mercury’s efforts to perform despite the fact he was dying from complications due to HIV/AIDS. It was released as a single just weeks before he died, and then Elton John performed it live with Queen in 1992 at a Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. This TTBB arrangement features a baritone solo and works well as a memorial piece. Available separately: 5-piece rock band accompaniment with full score.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
