It was originally composed as a concert piece for my primary school choir. It would best suit years 5 and above. After an introduction, the disciples ask a series of questions each of which is answered by Jesus relating a parable. Four of the best known parables (The Good Samaritan, The Lost Sheep, The Prodigal Son and The Sower) are portrayed in a variety of musical styles. The piece ends with a rousing finale. Run time is approximately 15 mns. As well as the complete score the download includes "The Prodigal Son" transposed to a lower key (as some children might find parts of that song rather high) and vocals only sheets for the complete work and the transposed song.
