Composed by Mussorgsky, M. Arranged by Michael Bomier. Concert,Halloween,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and parts. 6 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #3686225. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862676).

This somber music, in the key of G# minor, is not as daunting to play or as disquieting to hear as it might first appear. The accidentals are all clearly marked here, even the D# min chord with a D octave over it! The mood is enveloping rather than an upset, and the bass ostinato gives us reassurance rather than a threat. Still, fine fare for Halloween, eh?
All GateWay organ editions feature great and swell parts that can be played on separate manuals or on the same manual, with no key interference. Sample here is not reflective of our suggested registration. Full-length, original key. MBB.
