Psalm 23 is the second in the trinity including Psalms 22 and 24 and presents the Great Shepherd, having died and risen again, caring for His sheep. The lively, flowing rhythm and the simple melody create a pleasant pastoral atmosphere that captures the message of this popular Psalm.
The last of a trilogy of Psalms including Psalms 22 and 23, Psalm 24 presents the Chief Shepherd, returning to rule over the world. A triumphant organ part accompanies the jubilant choir to welcome the King.
