Soloists required: Innkeeper (baritone), Innkeeper's Wife (soprano), Mary (soprano), Joseph (tenor), three Wise Men (baritones), three Shepherds (ideally - but not necessarily - children) and SATB choir. All of the narration is spoken by the Innkeeper and his wife. The choir sing in all eleven songs. The choral parts are written for SATB plus a children´s choir (for the shepherds) if possible.
The musical can be performed as a fully staged production with drama or a concert version with narration.
