The Coffee Suite is three movement work based on the different levels of caffeine in different types of coffee. The first movement, caffeinated, is bright and upbeat; the second movement, half-calf; is disjointed; while the final movement, decaf, is quite mellow. Though the first marimba part requires four mallets, the patterns are simple, making this piece perfect for early intermediate percussion groups. Duration: approx. 5 min.
