Beginning with a unison statement, the anthem flows easily between unison and four-part harmony in the opening phrase. Set within a comfortable range for most singers, the refrain is a strong four-part setting of the text from I Chronicle 16:34, "Give thanks to the Lord for he is good." This piece is best suited for Thanksgiving-themed services and Sunday services following Easter.
