Lorenz is designed for a beginning student to play the PRIMO while an intermediate player (teacher, parent, friend, sibling) plays the SECONDO. All notes in the PRIMO are played singly with the hands in one position centered around middle C (Middle C Position) and then played one octave higher.
Lyrics by Jeremiah E. Rankin are included on the PRIMO for sing-along enjoyment. The PRIMO plays the melody for the first verse and chorus. Then the PRIMO plays harmony for the second verse while the SECONDO plays the melody. The song concludes with the PRIMO back on the melody for the final chorus.
The purchase price includes a 7-page combined score (grand staff) with both piano parts on each page plus the alternate format with the PRIMO and SECONDO on separate pages (3 pages each). Also included is an additional set of condensed scores which do not include the lyrics thus reducing the number of page turns.
