Tara's Theme is a song composed by Max Steiner in 1936 as the main theme of the film Gone with the Wind. The composition was first performed by The MGM Studio Orchestra. In the mid-1940s, "Tara's Theme" formed the musical basis of Mack David's song "My Own True Love. In Brazil, Tara's Theme became notorious as the romantic theme of the characters Dona Florinda and Professor Girafales in the series Chaves. This version was performed by Enoch Light & The Light Brigade.
