Tantum ergo (Let us raise) WAB 43 was originally set for SATB choir with Organ, composed in 1845 and is the second of Bruckner's eight settings of this hymn. This short work of only 36 bars and less than 2 minutes in length has been transposed from the original A major into D major and beautifully arranged for four-part Trombone Ensemble by Ralph Sauer for moderately advanced performers.
