A pensive mood in the beginning becomes increasingly more intense, supported by a fluid accompaniment. The return to the original mood completes the shape of this anthem. Its harmonic beauty will awe your congregation and singers. This general selection for SAB voices and piano accompaniment utilizes unison, two-part and four-part vocal writing, and features a powerful optional descant and optional congregational refrain.
