Joubert (A0.1031738).Intermediate arrangement for String Orchestra, Piano, and Solo. This was originally written with a trombone solo but does well for a Violin solo. The double bass is important in the solo selection and doubled in piano. With a good string bassist, the piano could be omitted in the solo section. There are all kinds of possibilities with a soloist instead of the first violin section playing the introduction and improvisation possibilities in the solo section.
