This edition presents the fourth movement, an 'Amoroso Rondeau' with double-stopped harmonics, which was missing in previous editions.
The Sonata in G major op. 1/3 has found its way into the cello repertoire as a sonata by Giuseppe Sammartini, but should be attributed to Martin Berteau. The fourth movement, an "Amoroso Rondeau" with flageolet double stops, which was missing in earlier editions, is included here.
