Heart of summer is. The Finnish-Swedish poet Gunnar Bjorling is one of the foremost poets of Swedish-language modernism. His minimalist, laconic poems are, in all their simplicity, impressionistically full of associations. Composer Staffan Storm has selected five poems from Bjorling's collections, all with a summer theme close to nature, and given them a congenial musical costume.
