Siegfried Fink (1928-2006) - Studium an der Musikhochschule "Franz Liszt" in Weimar bei Alfred Wagner Pauken/Schlaginstrumente und bei Prof. Helmut Riethmüller Komposition - Orchester- und Lehrtätigkeiten in Weimar, Magdeburg, Lübeck, Hannover - 1965 Dozent für Perkussion am "Bayerischen Staatskonservatorium" Würzburg - von 1973-1993 ordentlicher Professor für Pauken/Schlaginstrumente und Direktor des "Studios für Perkussion" an der "Hochschule für Musik", Würzburg - zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, u.a. das Bundesverdienstkreuz am Bande der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (1986) - Komponist von über 150 Werken, vor allem für Percussion-Solo und -Ensemble, Herausgeber und Fachautor für zahlreiche Verlage - Konzerte, Seminare und Meisterklassen in Afrika, Amerika, Asien und Europa.
