Sie is an intermediate level short piece for a saxophone quartet (SATB). Sie means rain in indigenous language muisca. The Pasillo is a folkloric Colombian music style, in 3/4, mainly performed at the center of the country. The piece will fix well in any kind of concert, chamber concert, world music festivals or simply to teach the students of saxophone some of the traditional music of South America.

I'm Julian Guacaneme, Colombian musician; composer, arranger, multiinstrumentalist and producer. I'm very passionate for the Colombian traditional and folkloric music. This piece has been composed for Colombian Sax Quartet, that is an ensemble from my sister Carolina who is also a musician, saxophonist.
